If a person is physically in the state of MN, I am able to provide therapeutic services for them. If a client is out of the state, I cannot provide services. Even MN residents must be physically in the state of MN during online therapy sessions.

I recommend clients have a medical physician complete and sign legal paperwork.
Legal paperwork is signed by the counselor ONLY when a medical doctor is not involved, the counselor feels that it is necessary and appropriate, and the client has attended 6+ consecutive therapeutic sessions with the counselor. Attending 6+ sessions DOES NOT guarantee that the counselor will sign legal paperwork.

No. The counseling services I offer are focused on healing, skill building, and growth, not litigation. Becoming involved in legal battles disrupts and damages the therapeutic relationship and process. Many adolescent clients are going through life changes due to divorce and I am honored to help them through that process and transition. I refer all legal aspects of their situation to guardians and legal professionals.
